Message: v6 3.9 3923's, 2 inch drop so far
Ok a few questions. I want to upgrade my truck to give it some ump and i keep getting mixed responses on the archives on these boards.
Which intake should i get...one on this site http://www.v8performance.com/intakes.html or a k&n, and if i get the k&n what do i have to do to make it fit my 3.9
are the 48mm TB 1.7 rockers the best ones, or what about that thing from thefastman.com, also dont know what needs to be modded for the fastman rockers
JBA headers is fine right?
Now my biggest dilema, im sure i want the flowmaster 40 series single in dual out...but where do i get the matching pipes for it?
Thanks, im not very knowledgeable of the techinical aspects of this stuff, im more of a "it has to be simple" kinda guy.

Message: The fastman and the F&B respond about the same.
right off idle and through the entire rpm range
you will notice gains.
Th V8 will have the same off idle with gains
starting about 1800 2000 rpm
I did run dyno tests with both after a 200 mile
learn and the F&B did show 4 hp and 8 foot pounds
more torque.
But that could have been atmospheric conditions
The headers will help once you have more air flow
TB and 1.7's cold air
You can use that intake but if you have an older
truck you will just need to get the air hat from
a bone yard
