Message: I got the 1987 Dakota blues in my black Dakota because I can't get it to get going in the mornings. Last weekend, I spent some quality time with my engine changing plugs, wires, fuel filter, Pcv (or is it PVC), distributor cap and rotor. My dakota has 58,000 original miles, but is still slow to get going in the morning. Any help appreciated. What should I check next?

Message: have you checked to see if its getting fuel?
try checking the choke in the morning or when the truck is cold to see if the choke is closing.
remove the air breather from the carb, look forthe flat flap at the top ,if its open, press the accelarator once or twice to see if it will close by its self,if not close it your self this should help
