Subject: Shudders after shifting IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know why my truck would shudder about 2-3 seconds after shifting? I have an '87 3.9L /AT. It happens mostly on 2nd to 3rd but not exclusively. Tranny gets regular maint. but is not quite due for filter/fluid change just yet.
Remanufactured tranny has 30K on it now. Could it be an adjustment?

Message: Drop a shift kit in there and be done with it.
I have never seen such sloppy mopar tranies like
the ones the use behind the V6 a shift kit will
solve almost all the complaints people have.
We have installed 34 shift kits in the last 2 years on these trucks
TransGo $100 and about 2 to 3 hours to install
Or the mopar shift kit that is made by TransGo
