Subject: need help w/ TPS and IAT mods IP: Logged
Message: I have no idea where the IAT sensor is or what the hell it looks like so if you guys could shed some light on this for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also I read something about the TPS mod in another thread and it sounded helpful but the process wasnt really described very well. If someone (Larry..cough...cough) would be willing to lay it out for me in lay terms I'd really appreciate it. Thanks alot,
Mike
BTW, I am mechanically inclined. I've been building motorcycles for quite a while, I'm just new to the car tweaking scene.

Message: Once you have the bushings drilled out you put it
on the truck with 2 washers on the bolts snug
down turn the key on don't start now read the
voltage center wire and ground.
.7 .74 works good
You can change the voltage by turning the sensor
counter clickwise will raise the voltage at closed
position.
Than open and close throttle a few times and be
sure it returns to the low volts.
That's about it
