Message: Hey, Dakota Bob. Did you get your headers right from JBA? You have a v6 right? Do you have dual 40s or does it go to a single muffler? I have a 94 v6 reg cab shortbox and am trying to find a decent exhaust. Any complaints about the Accel coil?

Message: They are JBA headers I got them off ebay 94 V6 just a single exhaust 2.5. The Accel coil went out on me yesterday I thought it was the fule pump, my mechanic told me that the Accel coil wasn't any better than the oem coil I had on it. I got it from Jegs it was direct hook up it fit in the same place as the stock coil. I didn't feel any difference in it. The coil I got is not the 300+ system.

Message: Thanks for the input Bob. I was going to get the Accel coil(not 300+ either) for my truck. It's been acting funny since I hooked up my remote start. Thought the coil could be going.

I just installed a Gibson sweptback single pipe cat back, with SS tip. Looks great, sort of like the RT, and it purrs like a kitten.

The sound and number of chanbers, 50's have more chambers, therefore are quieter, delta is the quieter version of both. So, delta 50s are the quietest.

flush body polished stainless tip . i mounted it in front of right wheel .it cost about $199 for the flush mounted tips and
$100 more to have my friend cut into the bed
and weld muffler pipe into flush mounted tips
.it is the best system i have ever seen .you
cant beat it. everbody has same tips coming out back side you name it but flush hole in bed is awsome .

The best sounding v6 i have heard belongs to ForexFour. i think he has the 70 series. he posts on the off road board if you have any questions.

Message: I didn't get much useful feedback from an earlier post so i did some research on my own.Someone suggested the 70 series flowmaster so i decided to go with that because I didn't want it to loud because I had 40 series on a previous v-6 and it sounded horrible it is hard to get a good sound on a v-6.I like the 70 series it is slightly louder than stock and doesn't have that tractor sound that some v-6's have.I have installed 180 degree thermostat, autolite 3923's,msd super conducter wires, and napa brass cap and rotor, these modifications have certainly helped with spark knocking problem .Hope it is a lasting solution
