Message: how much louder is the 40 than 50? I initially wanted the 50 but from earlier posts it sounds like people that have it consider it a slight improvement over the stock(in sound that is) and the 40 series sounds much better?
So my question is, Is the 40 series that much louder than the 50? If its not i will go with the 40.
thanks

Message: 40 series are loud as piss. I'd get 50 series delta flow, it will get a bit louder but you will get the power.

Message: the 40 sounds like piss over 3000 rpms too. Like a rice burner with indigestion if you ask me....go with the 50's. they sound like a v8 and are signifigantly louder than stock. 70's are closer to stock.

Message: I've got a 50 series on my 5.2L and it was pretty quiet with a single 3" side exit tailpipe, then I cut that of and dumped it just before the rear axle.. now she sounds real mean...he he he

Message: i have the 40 series which sounded really good until u hit 3000 rpms. so i cut the pipe right after the muffler. now its very loud and deep and turns heads. the only problem is that it is loud in the cab. im not bothered by it but some of my passenges are. in my opinion it was totally worth it. i havent heard the 50 series so i really cant compare the two
