Shumacher Enterprises has a convertion kit for the dakotas. I put a 340 in my 87 Dakota. I run 12.50 on slicks and I drive it every day to work. My truck is all steel no fiber glass, with a camper shell. A500 trans , 4.30 gears in a 8.75 rear end. Truck weighs 3600 pounds. When I dyno it I made 453 horse power. If you want v6 parts I have a lot of hot rod parts for them let me know.
