does anybody know of an aftermarket y-pipe for the v-sixer? i don't know about yalls but mine couldn't be any bigger than 2" in diameter.

Don't quote me on this but a v-8 one will probably fit. If not a direct bolt in will probably not require alot of mosification.

2001 RC 4.7 5sp 9.25" 3.92 LSD
Ported throttle body, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat. Working on adjustable fuel pressure with return.

i know that there is one for the 5.9 but doesn't that one have dual cats up close to the exaust manifolds?

only on the '01 and up. The earlier ones had just a plain Y-pipe. I am waiting for a full size 4.7 cat to go under warranty then I can steal the Y-pipe from it. No precats and I think ¼" larger to boot.

i believe that it was jba that carried the y-pipe..i will contact truckperformance.com today and see what i can figure out..
oh..i also read in a mopar magazine that the early daks with V8s had like a 3 inch y-pipe...would that fit?
