Message: Yea I am looking for a PCM too. Any help with this would be great. I have a half ton of mods to the engine and think I need the chip cause the truck is religiously getting 19mpg on 93 octane. I would use 87 but it pings whenever I put my foot into it (kinda annoying).
rob, I was looking at the Gibson kit, some say the Gibson muffler don't sound good and so they replace it with a flowmaster 40.
Later.

Message: I have a 97 Dak and have been wanting to get a chip as well. I have a 3.9L and was wondering what is the best chip to buy around 400 bucks. Please let me know of any chips that can imrove my horses w/o hurting gas mileage.
Thanks to anyone who can offer advice.

Message: my friend at the dealership states that the jetchip is crap. Others here on the site will concur. I have heard that the best thing is to get the dodge performance pcm but again I heard from the dealership that the gains are minimal and that there are a lot of other mods available that will out perform the pcm dollar for dollar.
probably not what you wanted to hear but I hope that helps. I haven't invested in either jet of pcm because I am very happy with all of my other mods and I just can't justify the cost for a few hp.
