Message: Yeah, well it happeded. I just turned it on, keep in mind the engine was cold and the fen was on. I reved it up to like 3000rpm and it just slowly turned off, it was nothing fast, it was like it just kept windind down till it turned itself off. So I'm hopping that it was protecting itself. Have anyone of you had this happen to you like this??

Message: I have oil pressure and its been runnind fine since. Just as strong as usual. It was just very strange. It's not like when you stall with a 5spd, it just slowly wound down.

Message: Why would you rev a cold engine to 3000 rpms....sounds like you are looking for TROUBLE!!! or trying to make a BIG PROBLEM for yourself...and blame it on the truck....I would have to laugh my a$$ off if someone came into the shop with some BS line about my truck is messed up and I don't understand why...all I did was float the valves on a cold engine....how stupid can you get...better off riding the bus...might be cheaper in the long run...Lots 'o' luck.... and like Jesse James would say "Pay up sucka". Even wonder if they would let you on the bus!
