 Subject: Whine from truck, whats the deal?

There has been a whine sound coming from under the hood of my 98 dak. I can put it in park/neutral and give it some gas and when the rpms go up, the whine gets louder.

Pull your belt off and give the pullies a spin to see what one is giving the noise. If not pullies look for any caps missing on the intake manifold could be a vac leak.
