Message: Hey ya'll i have a 98 Dodge Dakota CC, But it is a sport, so it dosn't come with the fog lights. What i want to do is cut out the opaning for the lights. But i have a problem, i dont know what the size of the hole is. I have heard a long time ago in past post the size, but i dont remember. So would someone tell me the size and give me some pointers in putting them in, and what are the best lights to buy? Thanx in advance ya'll.

Message: I was fairly certain he would be installing two, unless he was making a harsh attempt at becoming a lighthouse. In any regard, unless 8th grade math is starting to fail me in my old age, two holes = 2 lights. Inclusive with the two headlights that would already be on. If I can have a minute to load my calculator.... Yep, 4.

Message: Hey Gentalman, did you have any trouble putting them in or was it a strait forward job, and where did you get your lights? I would prefer the stock lights look, but i dont want to spend the big bucks at the dealer ship in order to get them. Any Ideas???????

Message: I have an 02 found someone selling Ram factory kits on ebay and I wrote to him and asked about Dakota and he put a set up for auction, don't remeber what I paid but it was way below what the dealer wanted, but I lost my patience with the guy because he took way too long to ship. The install was straight forward and fairly simple but time consuming, I did everything twice because I am particular how things look, the only part of the kit I did not like was the switch, I was expecting a switch like comes from the factory, insted the switch in the kit had one that required drilling a 1/2 hole adjacent to the headlight switch on the dash panel, no big deal but I wanted the factory look. The kit contained everything needed, adapter brackets, bolts and nuts, wiring harness encased in loom, fuses, wire ties, relay, etc, its all there just lay it out and strap it done and connect.

Message: I think 92whitedak was reffering to this:
2 holes=2 lights
+2 head lights=4 lights total
Just my opinion on his stupid post.

Message: Counting high beams that makes 6, if you hold the stalk switch in just the right position you can have high and low beams on at the same time.
