Message: Have any of you had problems getting that stupid little heater tube o-ring to seal? I ended up using a thicker one from a kitchen faucet. It doesn't leak now but it took an hour longer than it should have to replace it because of all the screwing around with the o-ring. Why can't they put a nipple on the pump that the hose slides onto?
Btw. this is a Dodge remanned water pump with a new dodge o-ring.

Message: I had the same problem when I bought a cheap water pump $20. I ended up having to buy a $60 bosch pump and the o-ring worked fine. The bosch pumps tube hole was a machined surface. Better than OEM.
