I am going to replace my exitsting plugs w/autolites,and add some good wires to my 95 3.9l Dakota. It came with a K&N filter (soon to be a complete FIPK). I have never messed w/an exhaust system but want to replace that, too. truckperformance.com lists a 3" Gibson catback system as fitting my truck (I have trouble navigating speedtweaks.net). My question concerns a messg I read that mentioned loss of power at lower rpms when they added this exhaust system. I dont want to lose power at low rpms. Is that statement true? If so I wont waste my money on it.
Also, if anyone has a better suggestion let me know- I am not looking for NOISE am just looking for better performance (why the hell did I buy a 6cyl??). If anyone would do mods in a different order give me that input, too.

I really cant afford to do too much else right now, but in the future, I plan to add an MSD Ignition system and get some JBA Headers. Have to leave stock cat on for now but plan to replace that with a high flow one, too. Once I get all that done I will look into a JET module, too-but am broke right now so am taking 1 step at a time.

this is the BEST way to get high HP and TQ for low cost.

V8 Throttle body. It improves overall.

The gibson i have heard does rob a little bit of low end but makes up for it in upper. As with any low restrictive exhaust you will lose some low end.
