Thought I had a bearing going out originally, but had replaced the hub that was actually bad. Thought perhaps the new hub was defective, so I checked both...smooth.

Usually I drive with O/D on, so I decided to do some investigating. with O/D on, I get what sounds like a bearing and you can hear it as you slow down the most. With O/D OFF, the noise goes away.

Currently, I've just discovered that I have a leaking transmission line, which I'm in the process of determining which it is. When I checked my fluids on a recent 3 hour drive, there were just a couple of small bubbles on the dipstick. Could have been slight foaming from a low level of fluid, I'm not sure...I have to service the filter/fluid anyway. The truck has 198k on it and I had thought about Amsoil, but to replace 100% of the fluid requires more $$ than I care to put into it, so I'll just use standard ATF+4 fluid in the best brand I can get ahold of.

Anyway, as far as this O/D problem...what should I be looking for? The truck doesn't like O/D when I take off to work on extreme cold days ( -10F ) and won't shift into O/D for the entire 25 mile commute...it will once the day is over and I drive it home though...dunno if that is a clue, but there it is.
