Message: I have a huge problem, when i step on my brake to slow down, it's fine, but as soon as i step on my clutch then the brake, it stalls out and battery loses all amps, and engine dies. Was told it may have something to do with a wire coming from the slave cylinder, wanting to fix this myself. have noticed in a few of the other issues i've read on here from other posters that it may have something to do with the wire harness under the fuse box in engine compartment. HELP!!!!!!!!! not sure what is causing the problem!

Message: I highly doubt this is to do with the #115 wire
splice.

Message: I just wasn't sure if it could be electrical as when i did push on the clutch and the brake at the same time to slow down or stop, everything would go dead and the battery lost all amps. I've replaced the fuel pump in my truck twice before and I know it isn't that, I've replaced the alternator, it's not that, had the old and the new tested, had my battery tested, not that, so just wondering what it could be and how would i fix it!

Message: Check for codes. Does it idle at all? Or do you have to keep your foot on the gas at all times?

Message: When it starts to die out, even pushing on the gas doesn't help. It loses all power completely. It just seems that even though i get my truck jump started in order to try to figure out what's wrong, it will hold power for a little while, and then once i get it out on the road and then step on the clutch and the brake to downshift and slow down it completely dies. and then once all the power is gone, i'll try to restart it, it won't start. It wouldn't have anything to do with the starter or cap and rotor and wires would it? I'm just not sure what is going on with this damn truck, but wanting to fix it myself instead of taking it in, can't afford the few hundred dollars it's probly gonna cost me whatever it is.

There is your problem. Is the only way you can start it is to jump it? If so, go buy yourself a new battery. Who and how was your battery tested?

Message: Just to make sure , why not check , redo that splice under the fusebox .
About 6 to 10 inches down the harness find 3 or 4 wires 'spliced' together , redo it with good quality 'joiner' or solder and tape up.
