i lost #1 fan speed but 2,3,4 are fine. the dealer fixed this a few years back and said it was some kind of resistor in the switch. i'm way out of warranty and will not pay the dealer to fix again. is this resistor something i can grab at radio shack or something and re-solder. thanks

Message: The dealer should have those resistor packs for about 15 bucks. It is located inside the cab, passenger side bottom of the dash near the floorboard.

Message: does each speed have a resistor? they made it sound like it was something in the switch itself. Is it kind of like a turn signal relay? thanks
