I have an opportunity to latch onto a 2007 RAM quad cab at a killer price, and it is hemi-equipped! Anybody know of any "gotcha's" with 2007 RAMS?

If you just want good gas mileage then get a Silverado/Serria with the Vortech 4800.

The Hemi V8 is a much more powerfull engine but even with MDS. It's still a gas hog.

But know this upcomming 2009 modle might be differnt.

The 09 does have slightly better fuel economy but not much. They also upped the HP for the 09.

I'm not aware of any major issues with the 07, but I haven't specifically been looking.

STS is right, if you want power get the hemi, if you want MPG, get something else.

Talk about a kick in the teeth! I was going over this morning to do the deal, but got tied up on a long conference call at work that didn't end until noon. When I got to the lot, I met the truck I wanted as it's new owner pulled out!

Aw, well! Maybe it was for the best.

Could have been, I wish someone would have pulled out with my truck LOL.

Dodge makes a great full-size truck, there's no doubt about it, But the only V8 engine they made with decent fuel economy was the good ole 318!.

The 287 is another great engine, But it only got the same or less fuel econ than its predecessor.
