Subject: Shifting Problems IP: Logged
Message: 2002 Dakota, sometimes it shifts ok...other times it takes 4000-4200 RPMs to shift, right around the 30-35 mph range. What are the solenoids that I need to replace to correct this problem? Also, where are they the cheapest? Thanks for all the help.

Message: I have a 2000 auto that was doing the same thing. Turned out to be the transmission spped cable that goes from the throttle body to the trans. It was stuck wide open so the trans always shifted as if I was at full throttle. A little WD-40 and it's shifting fine now.
