Message: Hey, i need to remove the plastic fender well. How do i remove the clips without breaking them, so that i can get at the engine.

Message: They break easily and they are relatively expensive to buy. I don't think dealers have a tool because manuals tell you to just pry them out. The dealer probably doesn't worry about breakage because they will just charge you for new parts. Try working from both sides and do the best you can.

Message: some have posted here in the past of finding a cheaper alternate clip at the local parts store that worked really well.
hope it's nothing serious having to take the innner fender off?

Message: If you mean fender liners, just break em off, get those ribbed push in type, 1/4"dia(counting ribs) and 1/2"length. They will hold just fine. They are cheap at any parts store.

Message: Ok ill try and take them off carefully, i like the idea about the ribbed clips, i need the extra room to get an angle drill in there to tap some snaped header bolts so they stop leaking.
