Subject: Speed sensor IP: Logged
Message: Would a faulty speed sensor cause my headlights to stay on
even after I turn off the engine? If so, where is it located on
my 1995 standard transmission?

Message: Well , it is not the 'speed sensor'.
There is a "control block" for the 'daytime running lights' - mounted on passenger side fender
wall close to the back near the firewall.
Has a pull-a-part connector = disconnect to fix
situation.
Then , you have choice to make -replace it
or [ manually pull on lights when you want them on ]..

Message: Hey, that worked. Thanks! The only problem with not
replacing it is that the hi beam low beam indicator light
doesn't work but that's better than opening the hood and
replacing the fuse everytime. Thanks again.
