Subject: Turning Radius IP: Logged
Message: I have a 94 sport ext/cab 2wd v-6.
Can a different ratio steering box/gear be installed to be able to make tighter turns? If so, which other vehicles would make good donors? Ram, Fullsize van, ect.....?
Just wondering.....

Message: nope. even if you could install it, my 93 dakota's turning radius is a tight as its gonna get. if you crank it all the way over, and look in the wheel wells, you will see that the back end of the tire is about to hit the frame. its just the way this truck was designed.

Message: Thanks Jay B . Wish I got this a day earlier. I just picked up a John Deer like moe suggested. Man this thing is awesome. No 3 point turns for me I can almost do it in 1 and 1/2.
Moe You Are the Man . Wish I thought of it sooner. BTW Moe can you help me find a dakota shell to bolt to the Deer.
Thank for any help.

Message: Hey MOE ...whoobwhoob. Yeah a little humor goes a long way. It was a honest ? though. Feasible or not something I've been pondering for a while. Tighter turns and now a DEER/KOTA?????
Think of the possibilities: grass cutting deck under the bed, bailer, seeder, PTO.
