Subject: 48mm F&B TB on ebay IP: Logged
Message: Hey everyone,
I just saw this F&B throttle body on ebay and was interested in getting it. Could you guys tell me how much it might go for and what I can expect as far as horsepower improvements for my '95 V6 Dakota?

Message: I bought a 48mm (not F&B) from a junkyard for $65. I had to pull it myself. I thought that was a bit high, but maybe not. Hope that gives you some type of reference.

Message: Stephen,
Are you saying that $45 is too much for a F&B throttle body? Are F&B throttle bodies really bad? I'm pretty new to this stuff, so any input would be appreciated.

Message: That's a good price...those tend to go for around $380 new (http://www.socaldakota.com). Forewarning...there no bids yet...last time I bid on an F&B throttle body on Ebay, it became a bid war in the end and went for almost the same amount you could buy a new one for. F&B throttle bodies are the BEST throttle body you can get...
As Larry puts it...
V8 throttle body - Good
Fastman - Better
F&B - Best
Just depends on what your budget is as the F&B cost a lot more as well.
