I am so sorry to dig this one up and dust it off, but...
I have access to a turbocharger, and am serioulsy thinking about getting it. I have gone through a whole whack of threads on the issue, and most seem to be pretty good, except one thing. Almost all the pictures are gone!
IntenseDak39, do you still have the photos of your turbo install? Since I am now extremely confused about what to do with my Dak over the winter, I am looking to see what others have done. Since you seem to have already done most of it and it looks like you might have pictures, I turn to you. My choices are: Turbo on the 3.9, or rip it all out and put in a V8, of which I can choose from a cheap 5.2l with 727 tranny, or a 400 B block with a 727. Needless to say, the turbo is the cheapest in the short term. If I can see what you did, then I might be inspired.
I am not a radical driver and never expect to race this truck, just want to be able to feel the power in the seat-'o-the pants dyno.
any help?
