I currently own a 2002 4 door v-6 dak. I have installed a Flowmaster muffler (60 series) and a Volant air intake With a throtle body spacer. I have gotten a little more HP with these modifications, but nothing substantial. What I would like is to get about 100 more HP than the pittiful 175 the truck comes with. My question is can this be done without getting to technical, and any thoughts on how much this would cost?

Message: the spacers do nothing on the beer barrel intake
the mag has get rid of it
In this order
crank sensor mods
bigger throttle body
1.7 roller rockers
headers
MSD 6a box 8207 coil 8.5mm wires
NGK FR5 plugs at .055
mod the intake manifold
The average stock 3.9 is running 120 140 at the
wheels with all the boltons and mods you can
get this up to 175 180 RWHP
More will need internal engine mods
