Message: I got my truck (2003 3.9) back in Sept. and I decided that I was going to switch over to synthetics as maintenance came up. Well it is time to change the transmission fluid and filter. Along with that I am going to do the tranfer case and differential. What are some options? I know Amsoil is one but what else are other people using. Thanks for the help.

Message: Baller, I am cleaning my 4x4 transfer case, both diffs, and the tranny with autorx. In a couple of weeks I will dump them out and replace them with Amsoil. The engine oil I will look for Royal Purple.

Message: These are what we use and a lot of customers also
ask for them
Amsoil
Mobil 1
Redline
Royal Purple
I myself run al Amsoil except in the motor I have
switched to Royal Purple
The trans Amsoil or Redline we have had great
resaults with these trans are very fussy about
what fluid goes in
I have seen sliping, sticking in gears and just
overall bad performance with cheap fluids they
come in with trans probs than you find out they
used something like super tech from walmart or
some other chep fluid or dextron which does not
work well in these trans
Switching to all syn will help power and gas
mileage the only way to go is with a good syn
also less wear when you tear a motor or trans
down with syn's
