hi guys
i have kind of a huge problem. the exhaust on my truck is totally rusted. the pipes have wholes in them. the muffler itself looks pretty good but the areas where it connects to the rear pipes are totally rusted so i think i can't use it again
It is a Dynomax Muffler single in dual out with 2 rear pipes.
My cat is broken too, so that has to be replaced too.
I was looking a little bit at the summit page and found a magnaflow direct fit cat. is this any good?
i don't really have an idea for the exhaust though. There are a few Gibson system for a reasonable price. What do you think about them.
Next next problem is shipping. Since I'm located in Germany shipping would be very expensive with an heavy package. So I thought of just buying the cat and a muffler and doing the pipe work on my own (pipes are available over here)
The routing i have under there now looks pretty complicated. So would it be better to buy a complete kit?

Being in Germany, you probably know better than us.
But I would think buying and installing locally would be best. If you bought a kit online, and it was wrong, you'd be in a bad situation.
How old is that Dynomax system?
Tell us the Dak year and engine, etc.

it is a 1998 V6 Standard Cab, Short Bed.
I don't know how old the Dynomax is, because the preowner installed it. I only know that i srewed it up completly because the welding is so bad and also the routing is weird.
I can get pipes over here but the right mufflers are hard to get, so it would be easier to buy it at summit.
