it's not an I6, it's a V6. can't tell if that price is good for the truck or not with the info you provided. also, is your '02 paid for?

if you want to find out what your truck and the truck you're looking at are worth try:

www.nada.com or www.kbb.com

dealers use NADA and banks, depending on your credit score use either NADA(hi score) or Kelley Blue Book(low score). kelley usually will give a higher retail value than NADA.

You want to get rid of your truck...why? The new body style is growing on me but it's still kinda ugly and are you wanting payments again? Can't go wrong with something that's paid for. Plus 52k mi isn't bad. I have almost 115K on my '00 3.9 and it still runs like a champ. If I were you I'd keep your truck but hey it's up to you.

The 3.7 puts out about 220hp stock I believe. They get better mileage. The wife has one in her 1500 Ram and she gets the same or slightly better mileage than my 3.9 Dak. I have an auto and she has a 5sp which helps a bit.

Personally I don't like the looks of the new Dakota. Whether it's worth it is a personal choice.
