Message: What year is your truck and how many miles on it. If it's OBD-1 95 or older, the O2 sensor should be replaced every 60,000 miles. When the O2 sensors start going bad, mileage and performance (especially on Mopar porducts)go way down. When was the last time was the truck tunerd up? Things like a new dist. cap, rotor, plug wires and spark plugs. How about your air filter, when was it last changed? Even changing the oil and filter can affect gas milaege. Are the tires inflated to the proper level of 30 to 35 psi. When temperatures get cold air pressure will fall off. Antifreeze and thermostats can affect mileage if not attended to before winter. Do you let your truck idle for long period of time to warm up before driving? Do you drive in heavy stop and go traffic, this will kill gas mileage. Just my 2 cents worth, hope this gives you some things to think about.
