Message: I have to use a thin 3 foot pipe wrench to get mine off.... and a strap wrench on the water pump pully to keep it from moving. Or you could even wedge a screwdriver between the pully and the pump body.

Message: i locked a pair of vis-grip pliers to the side of the pulley and put a big wrench on that nut. a couple of whacks with a 2lb sledge hamer and it came right off. the nut comes off counterclockwise(right hand thread).

Message: I rented the ford fan clutch wrench from autozone. It was a little sloppy but it wasn't rounding off the nut.

Message: just put a wrench on there and bang it with a hammer to your left(passengerside).
Might have to give it a couple good hits, as I did.
