Message: I'm noticing now for the last month this grinding sound which seems to be coming from the rear. It's not really a noise but more like a vibration, i actually don't hear anything. It comes whenever I pull out sometimes and more prone to happen when pulling out when turning at an intersection etc. from dead stop. I can't tell if its the clutch or the rearend. I have a 2002 sport rc 5 spd with about 45k on it and nothing mechanical wise done to it(except the crappy ball joints) There is no slipping with
the clutch either so I don't think it's that. Anyone experience this kind of thing? I want to change my differential oil soon. I've heard guys saying they couldn't believe how much metal shavings were in the pumpkin when they opened theirs up. I just hope this isn't my rearend or the clutch!! Also, can you get your computer scanned at an auto parts store or just the dealer? Has anyone had the new injector cleaning done yet at the dealer? I wonder if you can just rent the canister like at auto zone and do it yourself. I think it's just like a pressurized canister you plug into your fuel rail and pull the fuse to the fuel pump and let the engine run off gas through the pressurized canister. alright well that's enough, can someone get back to me. thanks

Message:
look at your motor/tranny mounts for cracks
also look at u-joint and any pillar bearings you might have
transmission mech said bad mounts will cause a grinding pulsing sound up the chassis and train
