Subject: Fuel Problem/Pressure Check IP: Logged
Message: Hi!
I have a 1996 Dodge Dak V6 3.9L.
Can a dirty fuel filter or pump cause intermittent popping, banging & cutting out. Can it also set a O2 sensor code?
I want to check my fuel pressure. What should the pressure be at idle?

lower gas level in tank { below about 1/3 or 1/4..)
How many miles/km on vehicle ?
Over 60,000 miles = probable O2 sensor need replace .
Never mind just the symptoms you have , but also
fuel milage ..
I recently changed my trucks O2 for better
fuel milage and it has paid itself off
in a short time...
