Message: Hey everyone,
I am seriously looking at a 2005 V6 Crew Cab Automatic and don't know if I should believe the EPA estimates of 16 city & 22 Hwy.
Some folks have told me that the V6 is a gas hog, but I thought they may have been taliking about the older Dakotas. Anyways, if the EPA estimates are accurate, I think I may go agead and buy it. I am really impressed with this vehicle (so far). ANy thoughts?

There's several people on here with 2005's. And what do you mean with "crew cab"? Quad cab (4 doors - QC) or Club Cab (2 doors - CC)?
keep in the mind the estimates are more like "average" number estimates. These are what you should expect from the vehicle. Some days you'll get more and others you'll get less.
Keep us posted on your decision.

Message: Sorry, by crew I mean Quad.
Anyways, if the estimates are accurate I think it is somehat of an improvement over the old 3.9L.
