Subject: Help me locate the radiator drain... IP: Logged
Message: Can somebody help me locate the radiator drain. I can't seem to find it.
Is it on the divers or passengers side?
Do I need to remove the small cover thats under the radiator?
Also, I'm planning on fabricating my own cold air intake, should I pick up a 3" aluminum tube from home depot or is something like pvc better?
Thanks

Message: What year is your truck? Not sure if all generations are the same. But on my 95 the radiator drain is drivers side bottom of radiator, I do have to remove a metal guard that is held in with 4 bolts.
Alot of people have done "home brew cai" do searches for home brew , cai or cold air intake.

Message: Remove the cover so it drains evenly, otherwise you'll get coolant everywhere! Be careful putting that cover back on though, those bolts are extremely easy to strip. It should be on the drivers side. You should be able to reach it from the top, I think it's next to a transmission cooler line (Radiator has integrated Trans cooler).
