Subject: tranny problems IP: Logged
Message: i posted on here b4 but i was a dumbbutt at the time. i have a 1990 dodge dakota LE. i do not have third and fourth gear (auto), in drive or overdrive.
i have checked transmission fluid while it was idling and it has plenty. the only the i havent checked is the modulator valve, which my friend was telling me could be the problem. i can push 90 M.P.H
in second, without a whining noise. Is there anything else that im missing, or do i need to replace my transmission altogether?
ANY HELP WILL BE GOOD

Message: is your linkage sticking it in second and not drive? it could possibly be your linkage.
