you really dont need to use caps lock, i can read. you really havent described the noise to much, is it for sure from the rear, might it be from the front? and you said you put it on jack stands and it didnt make the noise so you know its related to the weight of the vehicle being on the tires. and it can be tires too by the way, i put 10k on a set of goodyears and had to replace them because they were $hit. they made noise and vibrated when decelerating. but that is the only thing besides bearings that would make noise with weight, and i have 132k on stock bearings, i doubt its that.

Hey al
Don't be so quick to discount the possibilty of the noise being from the tires. If nothing else, try rotating them to see if that changes the noise. If so, then maybe you found your problem...if it does not change the noise, then you have lost nothing but 30 minutes of your time.

is the noise when you barely push on the gas while you are driving. Because my truck does this and i don't know what it is. It kind of goes away after i get up to a higher RPM. But it sounds like its coming from the rear end. I don't have the damndest of what it is, but i would like to know. Any help with my problem anyone?
