Message:
Got a 2000 Dak. with a 3.9, it has a skip or miss at idle hot or cold, it runs smooth after 30 seconds to a min. later. I cleaned the TB and I replaced the IAC valve due to the engine not idleing at all. What else should I look at.
Thanks

I had a similar problem with my 2001. You could check plugs, wires, distributor cap&rotor.I don't know how many miles you have but after about 78000 my cap and rotor were shot. I also have msd with I think could have helped those go. I would at least look into those things. I guess you could check your tps censor to but I dought that would be it.GOOD LUCK!

I changed out the rotor button and dist. cap this weekend, ths old ones look as if they could need replacing. After I replaced them the missing is still there untill a few min. of running. I will keep looking. Thanks for the advise.
