Message: Gaylords...very pricey, but very nice. If you look
at the "Hot Wheels Dakota Quad Cab" in one
of last years Truckin' magazine issues, it
looks clean! good luck

Message: I have been using are lids for 7years now I find the quality great, paint and construction wise. They have a good warranty on both. I like the way they incorperate your trucks lines into the lid, looks sharp. price? about 730.00

Message: Just put an Innovation Pro Sport on mine. I like it, but also saw a Gaylord on a QC on Sunday. Gaylords has a very trick and sano hinge system. Overall quality of their cover is probably the best I've seen so far and it integrates with the QC very nicely with a little wrap around the rear of the cab.

Message: I have had my ARE cover for about 3 months and I love it. I like the way it has lines that match the hood of the Dakota and it sits well on the bed. Checkout my website for pics of this and other mods to my truck. I paid $690 painted and installed.

Message: Just got an A.R.E. LSII installed. While I like the design, I had heard good reports on the paint quality and finish on this board. Mine has a couple of dust particles in the paint on the end over the tailgate and the side over driver's side of the box has some minor ripples in the finish from the mold. It bugs me everytime I look in the left mirror.
Dealer said they are hardly noticeable but then it's not his truck.
They are probably not worth making a big stink about but for paint and finish I'd give it a B.
Cheers ..... Audie, from Ontario

Message: I totally agree with Gaylord's, had one installed 3 months ago on my 98 Dakota. Now I wish I had waited a few months longer, as the tranny has crapped out and I sure could have used the money there (oh well, it's a dodge).
But yes, go with Gaylord's!

Message: Audie, where in Ontario did you get yours? I looked at one in Peterborough, and it looked flawless. I plan on getting one as soon as the funds permit, they are $1100 here, at Van & Truck World.
