Subject: Projector Headlights IP: Logged
Message: I'd just got my projector headlight on my truck and i love the way the look. It took a little massaging to make them fit, but they're looking pretty good now, just a few final adjustments. I had the same problem as everyone else with the corners by the fenders being gapped and sticking out. I had to take the mounting holes where the mounting screws go through on the headlights and shave the thickness on some and shim some others. You can take a look at the finished product at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3018035. They one problem I'm having is the clear lenses fogging in the colder weather. Does anyone else have this problem? Would drilling some hidden holes in the back of the headlight help for ventilation? Any input would help, thanx.

Message: I have that problem with my headlights sometimes, it seems to be only when it is extremely cold and I have had them on for 15 mins or more.
I think some inconspicuous holes would help out just make like 2 with the smallest drill bit you can find.
I think I will let you try it first then you can let me know what you found out.
I would have to say the Canada weather is playing a big factor in your problem.
I will ask around and see what I can come up with.

Message: My lens use to fog also. All I did was drill a small hole on the bottom half by the corner. no more fog. The hole has been there for almost 3 yrs and i never had any problems. will give a link if anyone wants to see exactly where a drilled the hole and how the lenses look after the hole being there for 3+yrs
