Message: Was wondering exactly what I would have to do to lower my 02' dakota sport. If you could let me know what all would need to be done and the prices, I would appriciate it. Ima lower this bitch one way or another.

Message: That depends on "how low you want to go" my friend. With a 4x4 it can get expensive, as I learned when I first thought of doing this to my 04 sport. I finally decided to go with a 2" drop in the rear to level the front and back. All you need is a couple of beltech rear shackles to switch out the originals. This will level your ride without sacrificing handling and it only cost about $50 and a hour of your time. Check in the forum for further info. Hope this helps.

Message: Lowering the back 2-4" is pretty easy. Use a combination of new shackles (like mayo said), and lowering blocks. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours to get the whole thing done, including reading the instructions.
The front is a lot more complicated, since it's a torsion bar. You can crank it all the way down and see how much you can get, probably 1-1.5" I think you can pull the bar and reclock it. That should give you another couple of inches.
The big problem is the front axles. If you lower the truck too much the axles will bind.
