Message: I believe they make a kit for installing those tailights. Not sure if they have one for your 87 or not though. The kits I've seen offered filler panels, etc. Everything needed to do the job. I just saw one on stylin' concepts web page.

Message: thanks davec. i got the buckets fabbed up. im workin on the filler panels. so far i have invested about 70$ into everything. 50$ for the lights (from my favorite place the junk yard) and some flat stock to make the buckets...
stylin concepts is rediculous if they think someones gonna pay over 500$ for there kit.
i just need to figure out reverse lights...

Message: I like your style though... There's somthing to say for a person who can fab somthing out of nothing. Sure if you buy a "kit" you are still the one to install it, but what you're doing really defines the word custom.

Message: dragin,
thanks a ton man. that really means alot. yes. i really think its better to build your own parts (cheaper too). being the president of one off kustom, i strive to lead my car club in creativity.
sure, the way im buildin my dak is not really seen (all shaved and customized)in the 4wd world, which gives me all the more reason to do it.
shes far from done, but right now im real happy with the progress ive made being a poor college student (full time) and workin part time. thats another reason im tryin my own thing with some parts, fabbin em up and all. fiberglass has become my best friend..
thanks again
