Subject: Painting Tailights IP: Logged
Message: I want to paint the outline and possibly "euro"(leave just the ovals unpainted) my stock taillights. Does anyone have any experience with the new "Fusion" paint for plastic or should I go with the standard basecoat/clearcoat touch up auto paint. I interested in durability in relation to the plastic surface.

Message: I have used VHT Niteshades, on the outside unlighted part of my tail lights, the key is to sand smothe first, then pant, then have at least 2 or 3 coats of clear coat. My dak is black so it looks AWESOME.

Message: I tried the "Fusion" stuff on my taillights and it did alright. It runs really easy though so go light on the coats.
