I don't think that clear corners are illegal anywhere as long as you use amber bulbs in them. Some people do and some dont. Just a matter of what you wanna do.

I'm thinking that it would be b/c most emergency vehicles use them and at night it might confuse ppl. I dont know, but that is what the five-0 says around here. I had green bulbs in mine and never got pulled over but I switched some amber bulbs in so I could pass inspection.

I have blue bulbs in my clear corners and haven't gotten pulled over yet. It may be the fact that when i turn them on they are white though. But Im in So Cal and haven't had a problem yet and the cops down here are usually really strict.
