Message: Yes the bumper on an SLT is chrome but the fascia underneath is grey plastic. I agree that it looks like, well, you know. can't use that language here. On a 2 tone it looks okay but not single color.
I have seen the chrome fascia and it looks good. I have only read about one person trying it and they found that the manufacturer doesn't package it well so when they got it they couldn't get it to look right on their truck. Got bent in shipping.
Another option that I think looks good is use the fascia from the Sport. I saw a red SLT that someone replace the fascia with a red sport one and it did wonders for the look of the truck.
Don't try to paint the grey one, the texture on it makes it look bad.

Message: Heres a solution to your problem for the facia on the bottom of the bumper. What you do is sand it with 320 grit and put 4-5 coats of primer on it and let dry then sand down till smooth seal it paint it and 3rounds of clear and it looks smooth as I have done this to 3 of them plus 4 Pt's. or just go and get one from a sport and sand and paint either will work the first is cheaper but consumes alot more time.

Message: Hey 2Kota...
Just an opinion but... wouldn't it look better if you just went out and got the "Sport" front faschia and color match painted it to your truck...? Kinda like Broheems and Chris Lambert's Daks...
Personally, I think that the full chromed faschia is a bit "over done", however I do understand that everyone has their own tastes...
Good luck on your project... I'm sure it will look GREAT when it is done!
