i currently have just a carbox w/2 10" subs just sitting in the backseat of my 00' dakota CC. i have looked at the thunderform box before but i decided not to get it. i just wanted to know if the sound is muffled at all & if you can still feel some vibration or if the seat absorbs all of it including the sounds.
thanks

shayne i got an unloaded t-form, bought 2 mtx blue thunder subs, and an 500 watt mtx thunder series amp. it hits really hard for 2 10's. if you stand on the outside, you can hear the underside of the truck rattling and vibrating. i was suprised myself at how good they worked and performed.

I used a mono amp rockford fosgate power
series digital 150.1, and my t-form hits. you
can run the mtx 6500D monoblock amp
aswell. no, the bass is not muffled by the
seat, there is a gap for air right above the
speaker, of course, with the windows down,
the speakers breathe better and hit harder.

I had my girlfriend test out the back seat after
the install, she liked it ; )

Shayne,
I put a T-form in last weekend and am pleased with it. I don't notice any difference in sound with seat up or down. Putting seat down doesn't affect it at all. I keep the jack and some tools in the jack-storage area, with the seat up you can hear them rattle a little (I should probably wrap the tools in a towel or something), with it down, you can't hear jack and tools rattling, but the bass is just as clean...no muffling.
