i stumbled accross this web site a couple weeks ago ( http://www.scunder.com/mike/home.html ) and noticed the guy had some custom sport mirrors... it turns out after i talked to him in a couple e-mails they were street scene cal-view sport mirrors... don't bother tryin to find them for your gen II, they won't be listed. but he said 94 ram street scene cal-view sport mirrors are almost a perfect fit with very little mods, so thats what he used.

well i was wondering if any of u gen II owners have ever tryed these ram mirrors on your truck? well if not i ordered a set of power ss mirrors that should be in next monday and if it warms up i will let u guys all know how it turns out. I will take some pics and show you how well or not so well they fit (weather permitting, its cold in northern alberta, canada right now eh)

ya they came in and the auto parts store uped the price another $150 so i said screw you and left

i figured since they those mirrors should fit all 94 ram sport mirrors should fit, since they all should have the same mounting bracket. i ordered a set of power m3 led signal mirrors off ebay. well they don't fit very good, you can tell the brackets are not made for my truck and it looks a little ghetto. i still have them on my truck and later this year in the sping i am going to have new custom brakets fabricated so they fit better.

i have digital camera so if you want some pics of them on my truck just shoot me an e-mail. my camera does not have the best picture quality but you can see how they fit.

when you install ur mirrors let me know how it goes cuz mabe i got the wrong damn brackets with the mirrors i ordered.

ok i will take a few pics tomorrow and give them to ya guys. these pics will show how the mirrors look with no mods done to them. but i had to make new holes for them to fit, drilled out the original hole to about 3/8 other wise they would have stuck out a good inch more.

I just stopped down to my buddy's body shop. I'm re-doing my '95. I decided to try a set of the manual Street Scene mirrors after reading this post a while ago. Got them from truckperformance.com on a special a couple of months ago. $64 for the pair + free shipping.

Anyway, he wanted me to see how they fit. Right out of the box, the holes line up no problem. They look nice, IMHO. He's going to file down the base in a couple of spots to improve the fit and then they should look "factory", especially after paint. I'd definitely recommend this as a cheap upgrade that looks pretty cool.

ya i'm going to file done the mirrors in a couple spots.

its just the as you can see in the front of the base on the mirror its short 1/4" or so so i can't file that down. if i can get the mirrors to tuck a bit closer it won't be so noticable and when i get it painted you may not be able to tell.

hey derek ya i got a system in my truck if your talking stereo. its a work in progress though consisting of a pioneer head, rockford He2's, lightning audio amp(not enough power) and when i can get my buckets i will be putting my xbox and sh!t in it to a custom console. i'll upload some pics of my speakers and box later if i get a chance. i still need a componet set and a better amp

b1llyw try and get us some pics of how your mirrors fit upclose, if you don't mind, so we can see how they fit. cause if they fit nice i may just sell mine and get a pair of them before i start fileing stuff down.

derek heres a couple pics..

this is the box i built just after i carpeted it(i used cruznlo's pics of his to make it)i built it for my two twelves but then when i was going to carpet it i bought these 2 10"s and fit them in place so the box is to big and the port hole i put on it sucks ass...i am going to try and make a custum fiberglass on this summer. here is a pic of my deck just after i installed it...

like i said work in progress so nobody be hatin on it..

my digita camera sucks so i have no good interior pics of the box in place but its sittin right behind the drivers seat.

I went down to take some pics this morning and he had pulled the mirrors off to get them ready to paint. He said had gotten them to fit real nice. I'll have to wait for the finished product to get some pictures.

that box is sitting right behind the drivers seat. i took the big half of the back seat out and sat it there. its basically the same steup cruznlo has but his was done better and on the opposit side. cruznlo.com is where he had pics of his stereo except he changed it around, his setup i mean so the pics may not be there.

when i built that box it was intended to be left sealed and it was full of polyfill(cotton type of stuff) then i took it ou of my truck through tens in it and it sould funny so i did something stupid and ported it(stupid becuase i just drilled the hole and never used a tube or set it up) after a week or so i took it out again carpeted it and thats what it looks like now only its back in my truck. i'm going to start making a custon fiberglass console to go between my daytona buckets and have it flow to the back and house these two 10's. well in theory i will be doing this but since its a few months away from happening i might do something different.

if you want to see pics of it in my truck i will take some tomorrow. as for the deck its a pretty good one have had no problems with it and it didn't cost much. when i can afford it i will upgrade my deck though.

by the way i'm i've got LA bolt 150 amp and it is a good amp but not even close to enough power to run my subz.
