 Subject: what are they called??

hey all, wanted to know what the bars are called that are in the back of trucks that have lights on them (kc or smiley faced covers on them, usually yellow covers) they sit in the bed just behind the cab and shine over it. i was thinkin about putting them on my truck but am running in to trouble finding them. thanks street stalker

if you're just looking for something to mount lights on, then i think what you're lookin for is a showbar. it looks like a roll bar, but it just bolts to the bed. it doesn't provide any protection if you actually roll your truck. if you want a real rollbar you have to run it through the bed floor and weld it to the frame. then it'd be helpful if you roll. they sell showbars at jcwhitney.com
