Subject: smaller tires for a 98 Dakota sport IP: Logged
Message: I bought a used 98 3.9 Dakota sport Black, regular cab. It has the stock tires on it, Goodyear wanglers. I would like to use a lower profile tire like the Pirelli Scorpion Zero (light truck tire). What would be a good size
to go with, something smaller then the 31 inch
stock tires? Is it bad for the gears to run a smaller tire size? Would a 29inch tire be OK?

Message: is it 4x4? if it is 2x4, go with 255/60/15 or 235/70/15.. both are close to stock sizes. the 255 is pretty wide too! I had them on my dak before I got my 17's
