Subject: 295-45-20 TIRES IP: Logged
Message: will 295-45-20 TIRES RUB IN THE FRONT
WITH FENDER FLARES AND HOTCHKINS 2-3"LOWERING KIT.
I NEED A TIRE THATS GOING TO PROTECT MY RIMS
AND STILL BE MADE FOR A TRUCK. THE ONLY SIZE
I'VE FOUND ARE THE 295-45-20 TOYO&YOKOH.WHICH
ARE ACCORDING TO http://www.eunos.com/tirecalc/
ARE 1"1/2 TOO BIG!!!!!!
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Message: Those are too big. There are several tires made that will fit. One example, B.F.Goodrich g-force T/A in 275/35/20 are about 28" tall. I assume you have some 9-10" rims for these tires since you quoted a 295 width. In the front you'll be better off with a narrower tire like a 255/40/20. You also might call Jonas at www.premier-automotive.net.

Message: i have 275/45/20 goodyear tires on my dak. they almost rub up front and they will when i lower it. i figure i can only go 1, maybe 2 inches but im pretty sure it will rub, but i hope it wont be too bad.

Message: dang thats a wide tires, with 20" rims, i assume u got the truck lowerd? or itd look goffy sitin that high with 20's.....and in the font....ur tire bein that wide when it rub proably slit the tire, mine almost slit when i had 235/70's on my truck
