Message: I don't have experience with the trailmaster lifts but when i ordered my PA 3 inch lift, it came with 2 extra lift blocks for extended or quad cab models. I have a regular cab.

Message: If I'm not mistaken, PA doesn't make a 3" lift for pre-97 Dakotas.

Message: i haven't had any problems at all. the steering didn't change at all. the only thing is that it doesn't come with rear bumper relocation brackets, so your bumper stays at the stock height. i had a welding shop custom make me some brackets so i could move it up and it looks great now. i haven't had any problems with the trailmaster kit.

Message: the trail master kits is ok!and since you dont have a choice with 3 inch on gen 2 your stuck!the only problem on the gen 3 kits are its not as complete compared to the pa lift.the pa lift comes with correct bumper brackets front and rear and a steering adaptor that bolts up to the box it self where the trailmaster gives you front bumper brackets which dont line up and no rear brackets.the steering shaft extender is you cut the shaft and splice in a welded double u bracket.
this is on gen 3 i dont know about gen 2.
